Santa for Seniors 2025: Spreading Holiday Cheer Across Chautauqua County

Submitted by Justin Gould on

The Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services (OFAS) is proud to share the 2025 Santa for Seniors campaign recap. This year, community members came together once again to ensure that older adults who are isolated or living alone felt remembered and celebrated during the holiday season.

From organization and gift sorting to the countywide delivery day on December 11, volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare and hand-deliver hundreds of thoughtful gift bags. Each bag included comfort items, seasonal treats, hygiene supplies, and a hand-packed meal—accompanied by friendly conversation and connection that truly brighten a senior’s day.

This meaningful tradition wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of volunteers, donors, civic groups, faith communities, and county employees who give their time and resources each year. From package organization to road-wide deliveries, your efforts made the season brighter for many older adults across the county.
