Jamestown Woman Sentenced to 7 Years in State Prison for Meth Trafficking Following Joint Task Force Investigation

District Attorney Jason L. Schmidt announces that Lisa Tibbetts, age 48, of Jamestown was convicted of two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, both “B” felonies and was sentenced May 12, 2025 by Judge David Foley to a determinate state prison sentence of seven years with two years of post-release supervision. Ms. Tibbetts plead guilty to these charges on February 25, 2025. The pled and sentence was the result of a lengthy investigation into the trafficking of methamphetamine by Ms.

Health Department Announces Upcoming Animal Rabies Immunization Clinics at the Westfield Highway Department

MAYVILLE, N.Y. – The Chautauqua County Health Department (CCHD) is announcing a free rabies vaccination clinic sponsored by the Town of Westfield and the CCHD. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations.
