Christmas is Coming for Seniors

We know Christmas comes in December. We are getting ready now! Join us in spreading holiday cheer to older adults in our community through the "Santa for Seniors" project.

This initiative, led by the Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services, The First Baptist Church of Mayville, and the Reverend J. Paul Womack Christmas Basket Fund at Hurlbut Memorial Community UM Church in Chautauqua, along with our dedicated community partners, aims to deliver gifts and a festive meal to older adults during the 2024 holiday season.

The "Santa for Seniors" team has been tirelessly working all year to prepare for the 2024 holiday season. Contributions from the community make it possible to provide each recipient with a heartwarming holiday experience. We need your support and generosity to make this initiative even more impactful. Your donations of the following items are greatly appreciated:

To participate in this meaningful community project, please contact the Santa for Seniors coordinator at ccsantaforseniors@gmail.com or call the Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services NY Connects program at 716-753-4582.

Additionally, if you know of an older adult over 60 years old who will be alone during the holiday season, you can nominate them by contacting the Chautauqua County NY Connects program at 716-753-4582 or by emailing at ccnyc@chqgov.com

Your involvement will bring joy and companionship to seniors in need during this special time of year. Happy holidays!
