MAYVILLE, N.Y. – As we prepare to observe Suicide Prevention Month this September, the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County invites YOU to join us in raising awareness, honoring lives lost, and building a community where hope thrives. Whether you walk, ride, golf, run, or volunteer, there’s a place for you in this movement.

Veterans Ride for Suicide Awareness – August 16 | Silver Creek, NY

Show up for those who’ve served. This motorcycle dice run honors veterans lost to suicide and raises awareness around mental health in the veteran community. Organized by our dedicated Veteran Subcommittee, the ride is a powerful tribute and a call for support. All are welcome.

Raynor Memorial Golf Tournament – August 30 | Cardinal Hills Golf Course, Randolph, NY

Join us for the 13th Annual Raynor Memorial Golf Tournament honoring Dan Raynor and all those we've lost. Enjoy 18 holes of golf, raffles, meals, and camaraderie all for a life-saving cause. Kick off Suicide Prevention Month by golfing for hope.

United for HOPE Walk Series – A First-Ever Tri-County Effort

This first-ever tri-county walk series connecting Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua Counties is an exciting opportunity for the Southern Tier to amplify support for one another and shine a light on the collaborative work being done across all three counties. Join us at one or all of these powerful walks:

Each walk is more than a moment, it's a message: HOPE is alive and well in our region. Volunteers and day-of helpers are needed!

Stomp Out the Stigma 5K – September 27 | Chautauqua County/Jamestown Airport

New name. New location. New energy. Formerly known as the Glow Run, this reimagined 5K is taking off, literally, on the RUNWAY at the Jamestown Airport!
Race at sunset surrounded by lights, music, glow gear, and a whole lot of heart. Whether you run or walk, you’ll be part of something unforgettable: a community moving forward together for suicide prevention. Registration opens at 5:15 PM, and the race starts at 6:15 PM. Help us light the runway and lift the stigma.

Get Involved. Get Inspired. Take Action.
Whether you’re riding for veterans, walking in solidarity, golfing for good, or lighting up the runway, you’re part of a movement that saves lives. We are calling on volunteers, walkers, runners, and advocates to join us in making this season of awareness unforgettable.
