Sometimes we become caregivers by choice. Other times, caregiving shows up unexpectedly and finds us. Either way, having support is key to maintaining your own emotional & physical health. Whether you're a daughter who does the grocery shopping for your mother, running errands for a neighbor, or are caring for a spouse with a chronic condition, we're here for you. Caregiver Support Services through Office for Aging Services are free, confidential services providing caregivers non-biased information needed to make informed decisions for both you and the person you are caring for.
WHO IS A CAREGIVER?
Adult family members, 18 years of age or older, providing care to an older adult aged 60 and older with chronic disease or dementia.
Older adults, aged 60 or older, living with and providing care to child under the age of 18.
Older adults, aged 60 or older, living with and providing care to an adult (aged 18 to 59) with disabilities.

Referrals for individualized caregiver counseling services to Alzheimer's Association and Family Services of the Chautauqua Region
Safety Devices such as door alarms, Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS), ElliQ and many more!
Respite Services such as in-home care service options, social adult day services, and short-term overnight respite care.
