Vaccinate Against COVID-19

UPDATE: In August 2025, new federal regulations limited access to the COVID-19 vaccine by requiring a patient-specific prescription.

On September 5, 2025, New York State enacted emergency measures to preserve access to the 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine, ensuring that children, pregnant individuals, and adults under 65 without underlying conditions can receive the vaccine without a prescription.

What does this mean for you?

Most people ages 3 and older will be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine at a pharmacy, however, please be aware that access may vary based on pharmacy policy, insurance coverage, and availability.

For questions regarding the 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine, contact your local pharmacy or healthcare provider.

Locate a COVID-19 Vaccination Site

The federal website, vaccines.gov, is currently not working.
