Survival Arts Media - Artists and Craftsmen Anthology: Introduction

Survival Arts Media produced the Artists and Craftsmen Anthology in cooperation with the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library system during 1976-1978 while residing in Jamestown N.Y. These mini-documentaries were produced using early black and white ½" video portapaks, and U-matic color camera recorders. The New York State Council on the Arts provided funding for the Anthology. The Artists and Craftsmen Anthology resides in the Peoples Video Theater / Survival Arts Media Archive, which was preserved by BAVC Media in Oakland, CA.
