Chautauqua County Mental Hygiene is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) dedicated to improving the lives of the community by offering various services in one location.

Our Center Offers the Community:

  • Individual Therapy for children, teens, and adults of all ages, available in person and through telehealth using an integrated approach
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children ages 3.5 and older
  • Family Therapy and Counseling
  • Group Therapy
  • Teen Group Therapy
  • Neurodivergent Teen Peer Groups
  • Art Therapy
  • Psychotropic Medication Management
  • Substance Use Counseling for teens and adults
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Substance Use Group Therapy
  • Peer Support Services, including bilingual peer support
  • Crisis Stabilization and Crisis Intervention Services
  • Mobile Crisis Services, including community-based response, linkage, and referrals
  • Care Coordination Services
  • Health Risk Monitoring
  • Translation Services

Our providers have specialized training in evidence-based and therapeutic approaches that include, but are not limited to:

  • Play Therapy
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy)
  • ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy)
  • TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

Now featuring our coping skills cards!

This coping skills kit will be provided to newly admitted clients of the center to assist them in implementing what they are exploring in therapy to manage stress and enhance emotional well-being. The bag includes a slogan of "Be Kind To Your Mind" and features staff designed coping skills cards with a variety of grounding tools to appeal to all five senses.
