"The community lost a good man."
Those words have remained with me since learning of Tony Dolce's passing this past weekend.
Tony dedicated his life to serving others, with dignity, integrity, and unwavering respect for everyone he met. Whether in the classroom, on the Jamestown City Council, through his faith, or in countless acts of service throughout our community, he gave his time, energy, and heart without hesitation.
His commitment to the City of Jamestown and to Chautauqua County will forever be remembered, but even more so, Tony will be remembered as a kind, humble man who genuinely cared about the people he served.
On behalf of Chautauqua County, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Anne, Amelia, Christian, and the entire Dolce family. May they find comfort in knowing Tony's legacy of service and compassion will continue to inspire our community for years to come.
