Chautauqua County DMV Announces Promotions to Senior Motor Vehicles Representative

MAYVILLE, N.Y.Greg Carlson, Chautauqua County Clerk, and DMV Administrator Kerri Smith are pleased to announce the promotion of five dedicated employees to the newly created title of Senior Motor Vehicles Representative within the Chautauqua County Department of Motor Vehicles.

Recognized for their professionalism, leadership, and commitment to public service are:

  • Merari Tirado – Dunkirk DMV

  • Tiffany Lincoln – Dunkirk DMV

  • Steve Austin – Jamestown DMV

  • Devin McChesney – Jamestown DMV

  • Denise Horvath – Mayville DMV

In their new roles, these team members will continue to provide frontline customer service while also offering enhanced operational and supervisory support in daily DMV transactions. As Senior Motor Vehicles Representatives, they will assist their Motor Vehicle Officer Supervisors in overseeing staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring full compliance with New York State Department of Motor Vehicles procedures and regulations.

The creation of this new title strengthens internal leadership at each DMV location and reinforces Chautauqua County’s commitment to delivering efficient, accurate, and customer-focused services to residents across the county.

County Clerk Carlson and Administrator Smith commend each of these employees for their dedication and wish them continued success in their expanded roles.
