Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel will provide his 2022 Tentative Budget Presentation to the Chautauqua County Legislature on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. The presentation will be during the full County Legislature meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St. in Mayville, N.Y.

 The Chautauqua County Workers’ Memorial Committee will be holding its 20^th Annual Workers’ Memorial Day on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Chautauqua County Workers’ Memorial Site at Erlandson Overview Park on Oak Hill Road in Frewsburg, N.Y.

MAYVILLE, N.Y.: -- The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 3 p.m. in Room 149 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St. in Mayville, N.Y.

The local American Legion and the Chautauqua County Veterans Council will be holding a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at noon in front of the Chautauqua County Courthouse, 1 N. Erie St. in Mayville, N.Y.

The program is to honor and remember the over 3,000 Americans who were killed on September 11, 2001 when members of the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four planes and crashed them in the World Trade Center in New York City, the pentagon just outside of Washington, D.C., and a field in Western Pennsylvania.

The Chautauqua County Shared Services Initiative Panel recently met to discuss and vote on the 2021 Chautauqua County Shared Services Initiative Plan.  A public hearing will be conducted for residents to ask questions and offer comments on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.
