Virtual Public Informational Meeting for the Chautauqua County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

MAYVILLE, N.Y.:--Chautauqua County received a Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to complete an update to the County’s 2016 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The purpose of hazard mitigation planning is to reduce damage to the environment and prevent the loss of life and number and severity of injuries that may result from natural hazard events.

Chautauqua County Health Department Makes Monkeypox Vaccine Available to People at Highest Risk of Infection

MAYVILLE, N.Y.: – The Chautauqua County Health Department and Evergreen Health are coordinating a monkeypox vaccine clinic on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Evergreen Health, 320 Prather Ave. in Jamestown, N.Y. This clinic will vaccinate Chautauqua County residents at highest risk of monkeypox infection. 

 

New Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters Available Throughout Chautauqua County

MAYVILLE, NY — Earlier this month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued new COVID-19 vaccine booster recommendations after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized both Pfizer and Moderna’s updated formulas of “bivalent” vaccines.
