Chautauqua County will host the 25th Annual Workers Memorial Service on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Workers Memorial site at Erlandson Overlook Park, 465 Oak Hill Road in Frewsburg.
This annual observance honors all Chautauqua County workers who have been injured or lost their lives on the job. The ceremony includes the reading of the Memorial Roll, now recognizing more than 180 individuals.
The memorial site features a gazebo, monument, and a brick walkway inscribed with the names of fallen workers, recently refurbished by the Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities.
The event is free and open to the public. Those unable to attend in person may watch the livestream on Chautauqua County Government’s YouTube channel.
