Acting Chautauqua County Executive Stephen Abdella has announced that many Chautauqua County Government offices will be closing early to the public on Christmas Eve.
On Dec. 24, 2019, the County Clerkâs Office, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, will be closing at 1 p.m.; a majority of county departments will be closing at 2:30 p.m.; and the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will be closing at 3 p.m.
This early closure will not affect essential services, including Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities divisions such as the airports and parks, CARTS, highway, and landfill and transfer stations, which will operate as usual.
