County HHS Postpones Appointments 3/16/2020
The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services is encouraging all Social Services clients with an appointment on Monday, March 16, in Mayville, Jamestown or Dunkirk, to not come in for scheduled appointments or non-emergency services. Negative actions will not be taken on the case as a result of missing an appointment.&

Can the October 2011 deadline be extended for the requirement for remote control timers or lockout devices?
Yes, but only with a formal variance from the Chautauqua County Health Department. Any variance request must include an abatement schedule and alternate provisions to protect the safety and health of the patrons.
If there is no manual shut off within the room, can the machine still be used?
No, a manual shut off is required.
Does the remote timer have to be outside of the booth or room in which the bed is located, such as on the exterior side of the door of the booth?
Yes, providing the timer is not under the control of the patron.
What is a lockout device?
It is a device that allows operators to lock and unlock the timer by way of punching in a code or similar method so that a patron cannot set or reset their own time.
Will previously completed patron paperwork (consent form, statement of acknowledgement) be acceptable?
No, the operator should have patrons fill out the new Subpart 72-1 complaint paperwork on their next visit.
