Guilty Plea Secured In Violent Jamestown Home Invasion Case

MAYVILLE, NY – William Buckley, age 48, of Jamestown pled guilty on November 27th to Burglary in the 1st Degree, a Class B violent felony, for a home invasion that occurred December 26, 2022 in the City of Jamestown.

Mr. Buckley entered the home of the victim, an elderly individual whom he had previously targeted under the guise of a home improvement job, displayed what appeared to be a firearm, restrained the individual, assaulted the individual, and stole the individual’s property. 

Mr. Buckley was indicted in January of this year on the Burglary charge and other related charges. The Burglary charge was the highest charge in the indictment.

The District Attorney would like to thank the Jamestown Police Department for their hard work on this case. Mr. Buckley is scheduled to be sentenced on February 5, 2024.
